This is us

Antoine

Antoine

The Logical One

The eldest of two brothers, Antoine has always carried a quiet sense of responsibility. He approaches the world with a logical mind, taking his time to understand before he acts. Where others see obstacles, he looks for a way forward; where others hesitate, he finds the courage to take the first step. He believes in keeping his word and standing firm when it matters most.

He taught Rose that not every chapter needs to be written in advance—that some answers reveal themselves in their own time, and that sometimes, the greatest strength is simply knowing when to slow down, refocus, stay present, and be there for the person you love—and who loves you in return.

Rose

The Sentimental One

The youngest and only daughter, Rose carries herself with quiet strength and independence. Yet behind that composed façade is someone who notices everything—the little moments, the quiet gestures, and the details others might overlook or take for granted. She feels deeply, overthinks endlessly, loves wholeheartedly, and holds on to memories long after everyone else has let them go.

She taught Antoine that not everything needs an answer. Sometimes, the most meaningful response isn't a logical one, but simply a hug, a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on.

Rose

Our love story

One from France —
the quiet beauty and timeless charm of Normandy.

The other from the Philippines —
the vibrant hustle and bustle streets of Manila.

Two cultures.
Two stories.
One unexpected meeting.

In a world where many people find love through dating apps and social media, ours started in a sweaty boxing gym in Singapore.

At first, we barely spoke.
We crossed paths,
exchanged the occasional glance,
and carried on with our routines.

Yet there was always a quiet curiosity between us—a spark, an unspoken feeling that there was more to the other person than met the eye.

We just didn't know it was the beginning.

A little something about the bees

If you've been wondering about the bees…

Somewhere along the way, My Baby became Mahbeebee — our little play on words and one of the many names we've come to call each other.

So naturally, when we imagined our little world together, there had to be bees.

Two Mahbeebees. One little hive.

If you wish to relive how Antoine & Rose started throwing punches—and eventually fell in love—wear your gloves and step into the ring.

A glimpse of what awaits

Before the day arrives,
here's a little glimpse of us—
the love, the laughter,
and the moments that brought us here.

The Filipino wedding

If this is your first Filipino wedding,

Mabuhay! Welcome! Bienvenue!

Here's a little guide to the traditions, customs, and special moments you may encounter throughout the day.

  1. The Procession

    The Entrance

The celebration begins with a procession of the people who will stand beside us on this journey. Selected family members and dear friends will make their way down the aisle, marking the beginning of a day filled with love, tradition, and celebration.

  2. The Ceremony

    A Filipino Catholic Wedding

Our ceremony will be celebrated in English and will follow Filipino Catholic wedding traditions. Alongside our vows and the exchange of rings, you will witness the candle, veil, and cord ceremonies, each carrying its own symbolism for our marriage.

  3. The Photos

    Say Cheese!

After the ceremony, we will all gather for photographs. Guests will be called by group, so please listen out for your name or group and join us when it's your turn. It's a Filipino wedding tradition that makes sure everyone gets a little piece of the memories.

  4. The Journey

    Off to the Reception

After the sacred celebration of our vows and lifelong commitment to one another, we'll make our way to the reception venue. It's just a short drive away, so please allow a little time for the journey. After all, the celebration isn't just about the destinations, but everything in between—a little travel, a little patience, and a lot to look forward to.

  5. The Cocktail Hour

    A Little World of Ours

Before the reception begins, come explore a little world inspired by us. Expect snacks, drinks, and experiences drawn from the places, people, inside jokes, and memories that have shaped us. Eat, drink, wander, and make yourself at home.

  6. The Reception Programme

    Let the Celebration Begin!

Filipino wedding receptions are about much more than dinner. Expect games, dances, speeches, laughter, and a few surprises throughout the evening. Most importantly, come ready to join the fun—whether you're taking part or cheering everyone on.

  7. The Dinner

    An Evening to Savour

Dinner will bring together Filipino cuisine, creativity, and a few elements close to our hearts. As we share a meal, we'll cut our wedding cake, raise our glasses, and mark the beginning of this new chapter—with a few unexpected touches woven into the evening.

Please don't eat and run! The evening isn't over just yet. There might be more surprises, you won't want to miss them.

Stay with us for a little Filipino wedding festivity: the Fortune Dance, where good wishes meet music, movement, and a little bit of luck. And perhaps, a little something to help fund our happily ever after.

  8. The After Party

    We're Not Done Yet

For those who aren't ready to call it a night, we'll keep the celebration going. Expect flowing spirits, late-night revelry, questionable dance moves, out-of-tune singing, and perhaps, a few wild, unexpected encounters. Don't worry! What happens on the dance floor, stays on the dance floor… unless it ends up in the wedding album.

Why Angelfields?

Choosing our reception venue was, in some ways, a leap of faith.

Rose found Angelfields while searching online, without ever setting foot on the grounds or having a proper ocular. She simply had a feeling about it.

Her requirements? High ceilings, warm timber features, wide open gardens, lush greenery, and a setting that felt distinctly its own, away from the formality of a conventional hotel ballroom and steeped in the quiet nostalgia of slower days.

Antoine, meanwhile, trusted her choice — and her instinct. So we booked it.

Three months later, we finally set foot in Angelfields for the very first time. And somehow, standing there together, we both knew: we had made the right choice.

About Angelfields

Beyond the gardens and architectural beauty we discovered a little slice of countryside, where ducks, sheep, tortoises, and turtles happily roam.

Feeling a little more adventurous? You can even feed them yourself. Animal feed is available for a small fee, so wander over, say hello, and make a few new friends along the way.

Frequently asked questions

What time should I arrive?

We kindly suggest that guests have a hearty breakfast or an early lunch and arrive by 12:00 noon to allow sufficient time to settle in comfortably before the ceremony begins. Kindly be informed that the church observes a strict start time, and latecomers may not be permitted to enter once the ceremony has commenced.

There are coffee shops and restaurants nearby should guests wish to enjoy additional refreshments beforehand. Please note that snacks will be served during the cocktail hour, which begins at 3:30 PM.

Can I bring additional guests, kids or a +1?

As we wish to keep the celebration intimate and emotionally meaningful, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to those named in the invitation and/or the number of guests allocated. As space is limited and to maintain a personal atmosphere, we are only able to accommodate +1s who are personally known to us, whom we have met before, and with whom we share a good relationship.

We kindly ask that guests respect our guest list. Additional or uninvited guests cannot be accommodated without prior approval from the couple.

Additionally, while we truly adore children, we will be keeping the event primarily adults-only, with the exception of the couple's nieces and nephews (children of the couple's siblings), along with a select few other specially invited children.

For guests bringing children, adult supervision is required throughout the celebration. Please ensure that children do not run around, shout, or make excessive noise, particularly during the ceremony and programme proper.

Where should I park?

Both the ceremony and reception venues offer ample complimentary parking spaces for guests.

Is there anything I should know about the ceremony?

Yes! Aside from arriving on time, we kindly ask everyone to be seated before the ceremony begins and to keep voices low once inside the church. Please refrain from walking down or crossing the aisle during the ceremony, particularly during the processional, readings, and exchange of vows.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the church, and do not forget to put your phones on silent.

Can I take photos or videos during the wedding? Can I post them?

Of course! We would love for you to capture the joy of the day! Please use our hashtags:

#OuiDaPignes #AntoineFoundHisFilipigne

However, during the ceremony, specifically during the processional, we kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras discreet and avoid blocking the view of our professional photographers and videographers.

Please do not extend your phones, cameras, or arms into the aisle during the processional. Do not step into the aisle to take a better view. Our photo and video team will be there to capture these moments for you, and for us.

Phones and cameras should be kept at chest or face level. Please also be mindful when photographing or recording other guests, and respect their privacy when doing so. We simply ask that everyone remain present, and respectful of the solemnity of the ceremony and the rest of the programme.

What is the dress code?

Kindly refer to the Dress Code. But to reiterate, please do not wear:

  • Striped polo shirts and short-sleeved casual shirts
  • Flip-flops, slippers, overly casual footwear

As our dress code is an important part of the atmosphere we are creating, guests arriving in attire specifically listed as not permitted may not be admitted to the celebration.

We know this sounds strict — but we promise this is part of the fun! We can't wait to see everyone dressed to impress for the occasion.

Your genuine presence is truly the best gift we could ask for.

Thank you for celebrating with us and being part of this special day.
Having you there means more to us than we can say.

If you would like to bless us with a gift beyond your presence, a monetary contribution would be sincerely appreciated as we build our home and life together overseas.

For those who wish to take part in our Fortune Dance, envelopes will be provided. Participation is entirely optional, and we're simply grateful to celebrate this special moment with you.
